Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, shop name, phone, address, and logo when you sign up or set up your shop.
• Information you enter: customers, vehicles and VINs, estimates, invoices, appointments, parts orders, photos, review requests, and marketing contact lists you create inside the app.
• Messages you send us: the contact and support forms, including the name, email, and message you submit.
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of a successful payment and a subscription reference, but we never store your full card number.
• Technical information: browser type, pages visited, and error logs used to keep the app running and secure.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate Est-Lite: creating estimates and invoices, sending the emails you trigger from the app, running your appointments and booking links, tracking your usage against your plan, processing billing, answering support requests, preventing abuse, and improving the product.

Your customers' information

The customer, vehicle, and job details you enter belong to your shop. We process that information on your behalf only to deliver the service, and we do not use it for our own marketing. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store customer details and to email them, and any customer who opts out of your emails is removed automatically.

When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that host, store, secure, or email on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of it.
• Our payment processor, to take subscription payments and manage billing.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• A successor party, if Est-Lite is merged, acquired, or its assets transferred.

Cookies and local storage

We use what is technically necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies or sell visitor data to advertisers.

Data retention

We keep your account and shop data while your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure with access restrictions. Your shop's records are scoped to your account, and staff access is controlled by the shop owner. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your shop information in Settings, and you can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, port, or object to certain processing.

Children

Est-Lite is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use Est-Lite after an update means you accept the revised policy.
